Cluj - Rimetea - Cluj
Departure from Cluj at 8:30 am. Start the hike to Piatra Secuiului Peak from the village of Rimetea. In no more than two hours we’ll be arriving on the top. From here, we’ll have a view down to the village and around.
Getting down, have lunch and visit the village of Rimetea which will reveal it’s houses remarkably conserved as if in a museum.
Heading back to Cluj, a stop is possible for the visit of Turda salt mine* to decent into the womb of the earth, once used as an antiaircraft shelter, later on as cheese ripening center and finally upgraded to a modern amusement park. *It is not recommended to visit the salt mine if you have heart, lungs, digestive and other health conditions.
